Armistice Day

The children have been learning about Remembrance Day and why we wear poppies. Year 1 painted these beautiful poppy pictures.

Trip to Fort Nelson 11th Nov 2024

Year 1 took a fantastic trip to Fort Nelson. We learnt all about hospitals and how they cared for soldiers pre-Florence Nightingale, as well as what life was like in the barracks. We were able to explore the changes made by Florence Nightingale and the impact she made.
